What can I expect when I choose your company?
When you choose our company you can expect quality service provided by an honest IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) trained and experienced cleaning professional. You can also expect on time service and no hidden charges. In addition, you can expect to receive a multi-step cleaning process that includes speed drying to ensure that your carpet will dry within hours, not days.
What cleaning process do you use?
We use a hot water extraction process, commonly known as “steam cleaning”. This process is the most thorough carpet cleaning method as it reaches even the deepest fibers of the carpet.
Do you have a green cleaning process?
Of course we do! We strive to offer the highest quality service using the safest chemicals and products available, which include chemicals that are considered “green.” Although our standard cleaning process is almost entirely “green”, we will happily discuss what we can offer to meet your needs or expectations at the time of booking or at the time of service.
How long does the carpet take to dry?
After your cleaning appointment, your carpets should be mostly dry within 4-6 hours. There are several factors that can affect dry time including air flow, humidity, and the temperature of the room. It’s important to facilitate air flow by opening up windows and utilizing ceiling fans after the carpet has been cleaned. We use air movers while we clean to expedite the drying process. The application of fabric protection can slightly extend the dry time.
Can I walk on the carpet after the cleaning before it is dry?
It’s best to stay off the carpet as much as possible after the cleaning since carpet is vulnerable to re-soiling while it is still damp. However, we will provide booties for you to put on over your feet or shoes if you need to walk across the carpet while it’s drying.
Will all the spots and stains on my carpet come out?
We will pre-treat all spots prior to cleaning with state-of-the-art cleaning products specifically designed for your type of carpeting. Some common household products, like red wine, coffee, or bleach, can cause permanent discolorations in carpeting. Whether or not a spot will come out largely depends on what caused it and what products were used on it afterwards. We will try our wide array of spotters before declaring a stain permanent.
Do you offer fabric protection for my freshly cleaned carpet or upholstery?
We offer fabric protection at an optional add-on service and in most cases we would highly recommend having it applied. Most carpet or upholstery is treated with a protector during the manufacturing process. This tends to wear away over time from foot traffic and vacuuming. It’s ideal to have protector professionally reapplied on freshly cleaned carpet or upholstery to repel stains, provide excellent protection from dry soil and traffic wear, and improve vacuum efficiency.
How do you protect my home when cleaning with equipment and hoses?
You don’t have to worry about your home or your furniture being damaged when our technicians are cleaning your carpets. Special equipment is placed around the cleaning area to protect walls, floors, and furniture.
Are the products that you use safe for kids and pets?
Yes, our products are safe for kids and pets of all ages.
How much does it cost to have my carpet cleaned?
We are happy to provide you with a free quote. We are able to give a ballpark estimate for most residential cleanings over the phone or internet with some basic information on the areas to be cleaned. Can’t I clean my carpets myself with a rental or home machine?
Some carpet cleaning machines may be adequate for “maintenance” carpet cleanings if properly used. However, there is a lot of chemistry involved in carpet cleaning and using the wrong solution or not rinsing properly could cause permanent discolorations, buildup in the carpet, or other problems down the road. Many of these machines take a lot of time to use and the results don’t compare to a professional cleaning with a truck mounted unit that can provide optimum power, state of the art products specifically designed for professional carpet cleaning application, and a highly educated and experienced cleaning technician.
How often should I have my carpet or upholstery cleaned?
The frequency that you should have your carpet or upholstery cleaned really depends on your lifestyle and factors including the size of your family or staff, traffic, pets, the environment, etc. As a general rule, cleaning is recommended every 6-18 months. However, some carpet manufacturers require professional steam cleaning to be done every 12 months to maintain the warranty of the carpet.
I have heard that my carpets will get dirty faster if I have them professionally cleaned. Is this true?
This is not true with the carpet cleaning method that our company uses. Some methods that are not as effective, including ones utilizing “home” carpet cleaning machines, do not thoroughly rinse the carpet and can leave residue that actually attracts dirt and dust. Our experienced technicians and state of the art equipment provide the most thorough cleaning possible so there is no need to worry about that.
Do I need to be present for the cleaning?
You do not need to be present for the cleaning. If it is more convenient for you to provide a way for us to access your home when you are not able to be present and would like to put a credit card on file for the cleaning, we would be happy to make those arrangements with you.
What do I need to do to prepare for a carpet cleaning?
We would like to make the cleaning process as simple as possible for our customers. In advance of the technician’s arrival, it’s best if you can move all small items off the carpet, including but not limited to toys, plants, small furniture, etc. in the rooms that you are planning on having cleaned.
Do you accept credit cards?
